After graduating from the Japan Campus, students that so desire can transfer to state and private universities in the US for their Junior year. Units earned at Lakeland College will transfer to the university of your choice where you can graduate with two more years of study.

It is estimated that there are more than 600 different majors at American universities. If the field that you really want to study is not available at the main Lakeland College campus, you can transfer to a different university that offers it.

All programs at Lakeland College, including those at the Japan Campus, have been accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).

This means that after going to the US, even if you transfer to another university your credits will be recognized and you will be able to start your third year there.
